15岁那年，自幼练习剑道的少女矶山香织（成海璃子 饰）参加全国初中生大赛，此前从未遭逢败绩的她却意外输给了东松学院那个名不见经传的女孩甲本早苗（北乃きい 饰）。香织对此耿耿于怀，为了击败早苗，她志愿报考了东松学院的高中部。与严肃古派的香织不同，早苗是一个开朗乐观的可爱女孩，即使父母离异也并未对她的身心造成太多的影响。虽然香织将她当作必须击败的宿敌，不过早苗全然不拿此当回事，反而和香织交起了朋友。两个性格全然不同的女孩相互影响，用各自的生活感染着对方，她们更并肩走入全国夏季大赛的会场……                                                                    　　本片根据誉田哲也的同名小说改编。

少女嘟嘟（邬祯琳 饰）逃离了老爸（张光北 饰）的严管去参加cosplay聚会，还未上场就遭一个蒙面人大勇（艾俊龙 饰）打劫，嘟嘟晕倒，大勇摆脱不了叫来朋友阿凯（张默 饰）帮忙，两人将嘟嘟弄到阿凯的摄影工作室，不料，嘟嘟醒来后死缠活磨软硬兼施，一场绑架成了大勇和阿凯的灾难，两人好言好语将嘟嘟送走。沮丧之极的大勇和阿凯还没来缓过劲，大勇的债主弹头（姜武 饰）找上门，一番戏谑后，弹头将大勇绑架让阿凯筹钱赎人。嘟嘟找手机回到摄影工作室，得知大勇因玩网络游戏赌博欠债被弹头绑架，自告奋勇要解救大勇。弹头的黑网吧里，一群cosplay玩家同嘟嘟比试网游纷纷落败，嘟嘟揭穿弹头作弊的手段，解读网游制胜的秘诀，并奉劝大家不要沉溺于网游，嘟嘟被大家崇拜。 　　弹头对嘟嘟怀恨在心，无意中发现了嘟嘟的身份，伺机报复。 　　交往中，阿凯发现了嘟嘟和嘟嘟爸之间的秘密。阿凯大勇为之动容。 　　阿凯和大勇答应帮嘟嘟参加家长会作为答谢，冒充嘟嘟老爸的阿凯在家长会上慷慨陈词，受到追崇。大家举行party庆祝家长会成功，大勇突然接到嘟嘟老爸的电话，请求大勇放了嘟嘟，原来一开始嘟嘟用大勇的手机偷偷发过信息求救，嘟嘟爸将大勇当做了绑匪。阿凯责备大勇，大勇哭丧惊慌，两人商量后决定陪同嘟嘟回家当面向嘟嘟老爸解释清楚，才能洗脱绑匪的罪责。说服嘟嘟，两人庆幸还能挽回局面，不料，嘟嘟不见了，恐慌中两人来到嘟嘟，两人解释不清，正在纠结难解，弹头打来电话要嘟嘟爸赎人，嘟嘟爸回想起一段历史恩怨，原来，嘟嘟爸十年前办理过一个案子，被告人败诉后跳楼身亡，这个人就是弹头的父亲，嘟嘟爸出于人道向家属道歉，弹头对嘟嘟爸怀怨已久。 　　绑架现场，弹头气急败坏要挟嘟嘟爸还清十年前欠下的恩仇，嘟嘟爸只求弹头放过嘟嘟，毅然跳下了高楼……嘟嘟痛不欲生，阿凯向嘟嘟讲述了她和老爸之间的秘密，弹头也因为这个秘密被警方很轻松抓捕归案。 　　一个不成功的绑架事件，引发了三个连环的绑架，牵扯出一段世仇，暴露了一个家庭秘密，让大家感受到亲情、友谊的珍贵。

Somewhere in the remote region, the war ends. In the midst of ruined cities and houses in the streets, in rural hamlets, everywhere where people still live, are children who have lost their homes and parents. Abandoned, hungry, and in rags, defenseless and humiliated, they wander through the world. Hunger drives them. Little streams of orphans merge into a river which rushes forward and submerges everything in its path. The children do not know any feeling; they know only the world of their enemies. They fight, steal, struggle for a mouthful of food, and violence is merely a means to get it. A gang led by Cahoun finds a refuge in an abandoned castle and encounters an old composer who has voluntarily retired into solitude from a world of hatred, treason, and crime. How can they find a common ground, how can they become mutual friends The castle becomes their hiding place but possibly it will also be their first home which they may organize and must defend. But even for this, the price will be very high.　　To this simple story, the journalist, writer, poet, scriptwriter, movie director, and film theoretician Béla Balázs applied many years of experience. He and the director Géza Radványi created a work which opened a new postwar chapter in Hungarian film. Surprisingly, this film has not lost any of its impact over the years, especially on a profound philosophical level. That is to say, it is not merely a movie about war; it is not important in what location and in what period of time it takes place. It is a story outside of time about the joyless fate of children who pay dearly for the cruel war games of adults.　　At the time it was premiered, the movie was enthusiastically received by the critics. The main roles were taken by streetwise boys of a children's group who created their roles improvisationally in close contact with a few professional actors, and in the children's acting their own fresh experience of war's turmoil appears to be reflected. At the same time, their performance fits admirably into the mosaic of a very complex movie language. Balázs's influence revealed itself, above all, in the introductory sequences an air raid on an amusement park, seen in a montage of dramatic situations evoking the last spasms of war, where, undoubtedly, we discern the influence of classical Soviet cinematography. Shooting, the boy's escape, the locomotive's wheels, the shadows of soldiers with submachine guns, the sound of a whistle—the images are linked together in abrupt sequences in which varying shots and expressive sharp sounds are emphasized. A perfectly planned screenplay avoided all elements of sentimentality, time-worn stereotypes of wronged children, romanticism and cheap simplification. The authors succeeded in bridging the perilous dramatic abyss of the metamorphosis of a children's community. Their telling of the story (the scene of pillaging, the assault on the castle, etc) independently introduced some neorealist elements which, at that time, were being propagated in Italy by De Sica, Rossellini, and other film artists. The rebukes of contemporary critics, who called attention to formalism for its own sake have been forgotten. The masterly art of cameraman Barnabás Hegyi gives vitality to the poetic images. His angle shots of the children, his composition of scenes in the castle interior, are a living document of the times, and underline the atmosphere and the characters of the protagonists. The success of the picture was also enhanced by the musical art of composer Dénes Buday who, in tense situations, inserted the theme of the Marseilaise into the movie's structure, as a motive of community unification, as an expression of friendship and the possibility of understanding.　　Valahol Europaban is the first significant postwar Hungarian film. It originated in a relaxed atmosphere, replete with joy and euphoria, and it includes these elements in order to demonstrate the strength of humanism, tolerance, and friendship. It represents a general condemnation of war anywhere in the world, in any form.
